Join us for a garden walk and native plant sale!
With ~300 native plant species and a smattering of exotics, there is something for everyone. Curious about how a plant grows before you add it to your yard? Stop by and see how these are doing in our site conditions—mostly full sun, some shade, average moisture, primarily loam with some clay.
You are welcome to stroll the yard during the event with a guided tour at 11:00 am.
East Michigan Native Plants will have their mobile native plant nursery on hand with a wide variety of plant species for you to purchase.
We’ll be there with our native woodland plants for purchase and we’ll be taking pre-orders and will deliver them to the sale.
Honey Hollow Apiary will have local raw honey available.
Through the Fire will have various nature themed items. On-site customization wil be available.
Black Cat Pottery will be bringing their beautifully hand-crafted nature inspired pottery.
Six Rivers Land Conservancy will have an info booth with their new native plant garden certification signs.
Jean will have a plant list as well as the historical information of her gardening journey on this property. As with most of us, Jean’s gardens are ‘works in progress’ with several projects she is hoping to work on each year and plenty to complete in the years to come.
This is an outstanding event. Please consider coming!
