This cute little annual in the mint family has a surprise scent. When I first learned about it, I was told, make sure you smell it. So I’ll leave it there for you! You can find it on the internet of course, but let yourself be surprised!
The curled blue stamens of the flowers and the flowers growing off stems that grow from the leaf axils characterize it. It is a plant that likes sun, sandy soil and can take the dry spells. It flowers late August to September and sometimes October.
This plant will reseed.
