Cucumber Root is an unusual, but beautiful plant with either one whorl of leaves (non-flowering), or two whorls of leaves (flowering). Flowers are unusual with green-yellow tepals and purple and orange reproductive parts. Unripe berries are green and ripe berries are blue-black. This plant is at home in rich woodlands.
