Pointed-leaf Tick Trefoil has one stalk reaching up to 3 feet tall that has a whorl of trifoliate leaves and then at the top a raceme of pink pea-like flowers. Once pollinated, loments (seed pods) form and they are covered with short, hooked hairs that may stick on feathers, hair and clothing. Each pod contains one kidney shaped seed.
