Spotted Jewelweed grows in moist to wet places in part sun. It has orange flowers with red dots and attracts hummingbirds and bees. The stems are green or pinkish and somewhat translucent. The entire plant is fragile. The seed pods that form will burst when touched if they are ripe sending the seeds in all directions.
