Golden Ragwort (Packera aurea)
from $3.50
Sold Out
Golden ragwort is certainly a sight to behold when en masse and in bloom. It;s yellow rays and golden centers give the flowers a cheery disposition.
At home on wet woodland edges and in meadows, it has done well in the shade in my yard where the soil dries out in the summer. This plant also grows in the sun, but in that condition, the water requirements are higher.
Gardeners will like that golden ragwort is deer resistant.
Golden ragwort is the host plant for the delightfully named moth—The Gem.
